Hypocrisy

A person who "does" the HYPOCRISY is called a HYPOCRITE.

The adjective form is HYPOCRITICAL.

Try to figure out what these words mean from the examples below:

1. She doesn't realize that her kids notice her hypocrisy when she tells them about how bad drinking alcohol is while she sips wine.

2. He says that he hates people who complain, but he is the biggest complainer I know. What a hypocrite!

3. Hypocritical people usually don't care what others think!

What do you think HYPOCRISY, HYPOCRITE, & HYPOCRITICAL have in common?
